About
You learn it once when you build it. You learn it twice when you teach it.

Hi — I'm Jon.
I've spent the last two decades shipping software at startups and bigger companies. Somewhere along the way I realized the thing that actually moved my career wasn't the apps I built, it was the moments I had to explain them to someone else.
When you build something, you make a hundred decisions and most of them blur. When you have to teach the same thing six months later, you suddenly see all the load-bearing choices clearly, the ones you would have explained badly in an interview.
Build the app. Then articulate every decision you made. That's what turns a portfolio into an offer.
The current generation of AI tools makes this both easier and harder. Easier because you can ship faster. Harder because it's tempting to skip the thinking and let the model decide.
LearningTwice is built around a single belief: the people who win the next five years of software hiring are the ones who use AI to go deeper, not shallower. This curriculum is how I'd teach someone, in person, with no shortcuts.
If that resonates, I'd love to help you build that kind of confidence inside the course.
